The Story

We are a leading composite insurer, based in Singapore, serving more than 20 million policyholders across their protection, saving and investment needs. We want to become more consumer-centric and innovative, and need to upskill our staff. They need to have a problem-solving mindset and adopt Agile ways of working in order for us to achieve this.

Our Approach

Working with the client, ADAPTOVATE:

Designed and delivered bespoke Design Sprints to augment the client's approach to problem solving, starting from executive leadership and scaling across teams
Coached teams on building a business model canvas to help them secure funding for their top priorities and transition Design Sprint solutions to Agile Implementation
Coached teams and conducted tailored Agile training to drive continuous improvements in their Agile maturity journey and to embed Agile principles and mindset
Transitioned teams effectively to a remote working environment by running Design Sprints and Agile ceremonies online through collaboration tools such as Miro and Jira

Outcomes

In collaboration with the insurer client, ADAPTOVATE achieved strong leadership alignment and advocacy of design sprints as a problem-solving approach with quicker outcomes and renewed focus on the customer. The engagement established the beginnings of a new culture and noticeably stronger cross-functional engagement by learning Design Sprints principles and Agile ways of working.
