Our team is the greatest asset we have, and it’s a privilege to share just a little bit more about who they are. This month we feature Benjamin Wong, one of our team in Singapore.

First up - how long have you worked with us? 

I started in September 2024

Why did you join us? Were you in the industry previously, or looking for a new career direction?

I was keen to broaden my international exposure by working with a global team across both the Singapore and international offices, while supporting clients with global operations.

I was drawn to ADAPTOVATE's approach to delivering value quickly and driving execution excellence for its clients.

How has your previous experience and career helped define where you are now? Would you have done things differently?

I began my career in Singapore’s public healthcare service, where I witnessed the important work carried out by dedicated individuals and the real difference they made in the lives of patients and their families.

Driven by a desire to learn how other industries and practitioners build best-in-class organisational practices, I made a mid-career switch to consulting. I hope to one day bring these lessons back to the public service or non-profit sector, where they can contribute to lasting impact.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Being able to sing well.

What do you most value in your friends and in colleagues - and are they different things?

In professional settings and personal relationships, I value authenticity, collegiality, commitment, and a good sense of humour.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

I draw inspiration from many people - family members, mentors, and great personalities. I am building a life that’s truly my own and one that I would find fulfilling.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Soaring above the savannah in a hot air balloon with family, margarita in hand, as the Great Migration moves like a living river below.

What is your greatest extravagance

Skydiving!

Finally - You've time travelled back to your 10-year-old self - What advice would you give?

You made the right choice, so take a deep breath and enjoy the journey.
