Our team is the greatest asset we have, and it’s a privilege to share just a little bit more about who they are. This month we feature Anna Michalska, one of our Business Services Team in Europe.

First up - how long have you worked with us? 

I started in October 2022

Why did you join us? Were you in the industry previously, or looking for a new career direction?

After years in law firms, I was craving something new - more growth, more learning, a global outlook, and flexibility. Joining ADAPTOVATE has been exactly that and more.

How has your previous experience and career helped define where you are now? Would you have done things differently?

My previous career path taught me how to stay adaptable and approach new challenges with an open mind. It hasn’t always been easy, but every step - even the challenging ones - helped shape where I am today. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Definitely the ability to learn like Neo in The Matrix - just plug in the knowledge you need and instantly have it!

What do you most value in your friends and in colleagues - and are they different things?

I value people who see others for who they truly are and respect those differences - recognising the strength that comes from diversity. Whether it’s friends or colleagues, that appreciation for individuality means a lot to me.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

I’ve never really identified with a single historical figure. I tend to draw inspiration from different people and moments rather than seeing myself in one particular person. Everyone’s path is so unique - mine included - and I like it that way.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

What a thought-provoking question! For me, perfect happiness means quality time with my family - somewhere warm by the sea, with room for new adventures, no time pressure, an empty to-do list, amazing food… and lots and lots of sunshine 🙂

What is your greatest extravagance?

Honestly? My greatest extravagance is carving out regular gym time - even if it means juggling everything else to make it happen. With two young kids, that alone time of lifting weights and listening to my music (not nursery rhymes!) feels like pure luxury.

What is your motto?

One step at a time is still forward.

Finally - You've time travelled back to your 10-year-old self - What advice would you give?

Trust the process, growth takes time.
